Cranium Cafe is a great example of a video feedback tool, and makes teacher-student communication more effective by eliminating back and forth emailing. Students can schedule online video meetings with a professor based on their available times. All Cranium Cafe meetings are archived and available for instant playback. Video, audio, whiteboard, and screen share are recorded, digitally stitched together, and timestamped. Teachers can also track how many students were seen, the average length of each meeting, and which day of the week/month/year has the highest usage. By using Cranium Cafe, critiques can go more smoothly since information is clearer with a face-to-face aspect.
